Pitt Cue Co.

REBRANDING CONCEPT. Pitt Cue Co is a popular barbecue restaurant located in London, UK. Founded in 2011, the restaurant gained popularity for its slow-cooked, American-style barbecue dishes. The menu features a range of meat options, including pulled pork, brisket, and ribs, as well as a selection of sides and desserts. The restaurant has a casual, laid-back atmosphere, with communal seating and an open kitchen. Pitt Cue Co has received numerous accolades and awards, including being named one of the top 10 barbecue restaurants in the world by The Guardian. It has also been featured on television shows such as Masterchef and The Hairy Bikers.

I originally discovered this restaurant whilst watching “**** That’s Delicious” on Vice. Their original branding has a ‘hipster’ element to it. I wanted to take that further by developing a series of logos. Some of these could be used across merchandising, publishing and home delivery kits. The pattern design was developed to use for packaging. I decided to keep the pig design from their current branding but develop alternatives to it.
